DESCRIPTION:Join us for our seventh  annual Downtown Planting Day on April 25! Volunteers will spend around 2 hours planting flowers in the street planters — you’re welcome to stay the entire time\, or just long enough to plant one planter. \nVolunteers should plan to bring the following supplies: \n\nGardening gloves\nGardening tools for planting & weeding\, e.g. trowel\, hand rake\, hand pruners\, etc.\nA bucket for toting your tools\, if desired\nWeather protection\, e.g. sunscreen\, hat\, sunglasses\, rain gear\nRefillable water bottle\n\nIf you own a gardening cart/wheelbarrow/wagon and can feasibly transport it downtown\, we encourage you to bring it for easier transportation of plants from Wetmore Plaza to your assigned planter(s). \nThank you for keeping the Downtown Flower Program growing and thriving! \nVolunteer: plantingday2026.eventbrite.com \nMake a donation: downtowneverettpartners.org

From classical to whimsical\, abstract to figurative\, Sorticulture features fountains\, trellises\, iron and cement sculpture\, found objects\, mosaics and more! \nSorticulture is free to attend. \nMake sure to stop by the Downtown Everett Association booth and grab our Summer 2025 Dining & Shopping Guide!
